What do you think?...I like the paper reciclyng part.
But the old kind have a bit of more personality I will say.

Less cluttered, but definitely less character.
I first heard these were coming a couple of years ago. It sounded like a brilliant idea. I don't like the individual boxes all higgledy-piggledy but I don't like these either. It's about the size of a bus shelter. They are not going to age gracefully.
Note the sloped top. That's not to let the rain run off. It's to stop rioters and other ne'er-do-wells from standing on it.
This is neater and I like the recycling part too. But you're right that the old style has more character.
They make me think of letter -boxes ...not very beautyful, because of this sad grey.but the paper-recycling part is a great idea
It is pretty cool though that you can recycle the newspaper right there, but I agree, less character than the colorful old ones!
