This is exactly what you are thinking...someone doing cross country ski at the beach by Stanley park...isn't that awesome??...I was actually talking to my boyfriend about having fun with boards by the beach... ha ha ah no lift need it!!

Lights of Hope 2008

Located in the heart of downtown Vancouver, the “Lights of Hope” display is just that, a display, but a very large and colorful one!!. And taking into account that it is for a good cause (funds go towards buying new equipment for the hospital, thus providing better care for the patients this year goal is 2.1 millions wooohhh), the few minutes it takes to appreciate the lights is still worth the detour.

Jingle Bades

Last Week end I had the chance to see this amazing girls on the Jingle Blades 2008 Figure Skating competition...what a show!
I probably couldnt stand on those tinny blades fro more than 10 min with out falling or wobble around like a monkey... he he he I did learn how to roller blade this past summer!!!

Bultzen lake

This beautiful lake is in the Port Moody area in Vancouver. Has many attractions year round, and a beautiful trail that goes all around the park and the river...watch out for bears!!!
Can't wait to run it again!
