The Lions

The Lions is a prominent landmark. The western summit is higher and a more popular climb. The East Lion at 1599 metres (5245 ft.) might not be as high, but is more difficult than the West Lion that is 1646 metres (5401 ft.) in height. My big Goal is to climb up there!! for now keep on training on trails running only...one day folks one day...

The tallest building downtown is the Shangri-La, Hotel and Homes, they go as high as 4.5 million still 5 available...The 119-room hotel will occupy the first fifteen floors of a new 61-story landmark building, the tallest in Vancouver, with cutting-edge architectural design. The mixed use complex will showcase innovative residential living; a sculpture galleria, curated by the Vancouver Art Gallery; high-end retail shops; live/work condominiums, creative restaurants and the Shangri-La Hotel, all in all "the best of cosmopolitan West Coast life".

Fairmont Vancouver, the triangular roof is one of my favorites buildings downtown, will do some close ups of the gargles soon, promise!
