Scheduled to complete in early 2009, the VCEC's expansion facility will triple the size of the existing facility, covering a gross area of 1.2 million square feet ( four city blocks) for a combined total of 473,523 square feet of pre-function, meeting, exhibition and ballroom space. In 2010, the VCEC will serve as the broadcast and media centre as it welcomes the world for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games.
I have hear that there is a 30 million dollar bonus for finishing on time...mm If this is true I think I would have seen workers today, but the building was rather desolated.

Millions dollars, hundred feet..for a result which is not so beautyful...the mountain behind, among the clouds, is so much more pleasant to look at....
